How We Got Here...
It all started when I met my husband and moved away to Los Angeles, the fast upcoming
fashion capital after New York, while my girlies envied my accessibility to beautiful dresses and
shoes on the US shores.
Homesick and bored, I quickly became a personal shopper for my girlfriends, making and
receiving purchases on their behalf from hot celebrity labels. It then occurred that there may be
many others out there who suffer the same fashion hunger pangs.
I also met young designers who needed help venturing out of the US, and others abroad, who
are keen to pursue the US market.
Confident, I put together Conversation Pieces. We help designers find new audiences and
introduce shoppers to new emerging labels. Now 6 years old, we've hosted over a dozen trunk
shows in various international cities in support of designers in their outreach.
For the many of us who dream of owning gorgeous dresses, bags and accessories featured in
foreign fashion magazines can have them all in your wardrobe without traveling long distances!
I enjoy my work meeting talented individuals from shore to shore and keeping creativity and
friendship alive. I’ve never been happier!
